Sustainability & Me

From the very beginning, I wanted to be as sustainable as possible and do my bit for our now fragile, and beautiful planet. I'm still wondering why there is so much plastic out there, especially when there are so many other alternatives available.

Doing my bit

So, I am doing my little bit to help our planet, in my own little way, by sourcing only the best materials I can, that can be disposed of in the most eco-friendly way and without causing further harm to the environment or to ourselves.

Soy Wax

I love using Soy wax because it's so nice to work with, but also because it is 100% natural. I use only GM-free soy wax. I do not use any additives to change the wax's natural effects like most candle makers out there. I also do not use dyes or synthetic fragrance oils in my candles or wax melts because I want a purely natural candle. The soy wax I source has been confirmed as vegan-friendly, and cruelty-free. It is also carbon-neutral, completely renewable, and has no negative impact on the environment.

Pure Essential Oils

I use pure essential oils instead of fragrance oils because I want a purely natural candle and a natural aroma. The oils I use have also been confirmed as vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

NO PLASTIC

I hate plastic and what it has done and can do to our sea life. There is way too much of it in this world, and it is completely out of control. So, I have always steered well clear of using plastics as a packaging material for my products.

At Lib's Aromatherapy, I will strive to keep doing my bit for the environment in business, as I do in my own life.
